Many years ago, I fell into fandom for an artist/poet and maker of a small magazine that just took my breath away with every issue. Then I moved too much or he went a different direction or for some reason the connection was broken.
A couple of years ago, I found out that one of my friends and her late husband had been connected to this same artist but had also lost connection. We tried to find him but for some reason couldn’t and we were both saddened by the loss.
This week, a mail piece from him showed up at her address, delighting us both. And, as these things sometime go, he is also on Substack sharing his amazing art and poetry.
When something that has been lost, comes back to us, there is a feeling of rightness in the universe. I am gratefully celebrating this return of beauty and joy by sharing a sample of Rod MacIver’s work here.

One of the best ways to practice gratitude is by journaling. There are many different sizes, shapes and focuses for gratitude journals. While we love the bigger, workbook sized Gratitude Mojo, some people prefer this 6” x 9” version available from amazon.com.
Reminder: Neither Substack nor Gratitude Mojo ever sells your email.
This is lovely, thank you for sharing!!
I speak all the time on ZOOM. Last night, speaking to a retirement community about my late husband Robert Muller's biography, Prophet, The Hatmaker's Son and his passion for peace, I refound the joy of a live audience. Live speeches have always energized me and I felt like saying, "I'm back". I love people and the joy of sharing my energy as we explore together what's possible for a would to work for all.
