Heroes come in many forms
We should have a Hall of Fame for Voters, here's my nominee
Voting is a service to our country and to the democracy we’ve been trying to make more perfect for close to 250 years. We should honor everyone who votes and have a special place in our hearts and memory for those who went above and beyond the call.
I would nominate Catherine Burke Crews for her passion and determination to the imagined Voter Hall of Fame.
Thank you to the Mississippi Democratic Party for sharing this and may we all work hard enough to honor Catherine’s last vote and her wishes for our democracy.
The evidence you have prepared is overwhelming. The human mind and spirit are inscrutable. Persevere in the face of opposition and use your best strengths serve your highest goals.
