Tami Briggs is an angel and has the harp to prove it. On the first Monday of every month, she hosts a free zoom meditation for peace accompanied by the healing tones of her harp. Tami invites you to join; link below.
Tami took piano lessons as a child from a teacher who was also a harpist. The seed was planted even though it took a few years to sprout. “When I turned 30, I was going through a difficult time and the harp magically appeared at my door! From the moment I touched it, I felt like ‘I had come home.’ As I began practicing, I personally felt the healing properties of the harp. Then, when I started playing at different functions and events, I watched the positive reactions of people to this magnificent instrument. Having these personal experiences and witnessing public healings motivated me to study and graduate from the International Harp Therapy Program (IHTP) in 1995.
For the next 25 years, I worked as a Certified Harp Practitioner at the hospital and hospice bedsides. I also traveled around the United States and internationally, educating healthcare providers about using music at the bedside. I am deeply grateful and very passionate about this profound healing work.
Then when Covid “hit,” everything changed. I was no longer invited into the healthcare environment to play and my speaking business went away. It was a time of discernment and exploring what’s next. What came in was realizing my passion to use my harp for world peace … to be an anchor for peace with music. This deep interest was seeded years ago after living in Switzerland (1982) and Japan (1987).
Vibrational Healing
I began networking with the peace movement community and offering to play on Zoom at different sessions. The gentle yet powerful vibrations of the harp help people connect to their inner peaceful core and expand that into the world; this is vibrational healing.
You are invited to attend a Peace Meditation on December 5th from 7 to 8 p.m. (central time). This meditation will be sponsored by Rotary International’s EClub of World Peace, but you do not have to be a Rotary member to attend. We meditate in silence and I will play the harp intermittently throughout the hour to keep our vibration high and focused.
These meditations are an offering of gratitude for people who want to be involved in peace activation; they are something we can do to increase the planet’s vibration and promote peace. Join us at this link: https://us02web.zoom.us/j/3023011598. '
