"When we focus on our gratitude, the tide of disappointment
goes out and the tide of love rushes in."
-- Kristin Armstrong
Life is a miracle: from dandelions to dandy lions, from butter to butterflies, from ants to aunts, and from sons to sunshine.
Everywhere we look, there is life and we are part of it, part of the miracle, part of the great circle of gratitude. Acknowledging the miraculous life around us as it ripples out in ever expanding circles, creates a sense of being part of an abundant Universe and builds your miracle-noticing muscle … or removes the blinders that might have prevented your seeing the miracles that surround you in the first place.
Frequency Illusion: miracles surround us when we look and the more we look, the more we find.
A well-known phenomenon called frequency illusion happens when we notice something for the first time and suddenly it’s everywhere. Noticing doesn’t make something happen, however, it does open your perception and makes it seem as if the new thing has blossomed everywhere.
Author Eric Barker says, “You create your world with what you pay attention to.”
How could you notice more miracles today?

In good times and challenging ones, practicing gratitude helps us recognize the good things in our lives and build resilience for the challenges that come our way. Gratitude journaling is one of the best ways to better understand yourself and deepen your practice of gratitude.
Any journal will do … however, we have a bias toward Gratitude Mojo, which comes to you free with your annual paid subscription … including one copy for a friend because having a Gratitude Buddy makes the journey better.
We want to help everyone develop a deeper practice of gratitude, therefore, all posts are always free. … And, we always appreciate paid subscriptions as they help support this work.
I was drawn to the energy/frequency of miracles a while ago and it just popped back into my consciousness yesterday. Thanks for the timely reminder!
Thanks for the post. I especially like this quote by Author Eric Barker, “You create your world with what you pay attention to.” I often notice what I call over-spiritualized language in friends who share my Christian faith. "God showed me this, or Jesus taught me that" they may say trying to express a new understanding in their life. I've no doubt that we are fantastic and complex creatures. Barker's quote opens a way to greater self-understanding and appreciation as we express gratitude for the marvels of the world around us and within us. 🌏
