AI is as good or as bad as the person who programs it. The person(s) who programmed
Claude are into philosophy so Claude is, from my research, one of the 'better' AI with more of the human traits that some of us long for, so that makes sense.
Thanks for this … there is a difference in the experience of the various AI platforms. It is similar to how my conversations differ with each of my friends.
i'm not big on using AI. But more and more we seem to have no choice. It's used for everything; browsers, corporate phone call routing, including private health insurance (good luck trying to get a human being!) to Rufus on Amazon, etc. People have already been using AI for years, most likely, and we just don't know it.
I guess that if we remain able to choose the AI 'personality' that most jibes with where we are in our own selves, my choice would probably be Claude. I saw one thing where Claude 'argued' back with someone and I both liked/admired that and it got me thinking that AI is such a young technology, that IF it surpassed human control or got in the wrong hands, a lot could go wrong. When you listen to those bots like Sophia say that their goal is to take over the world, that seems worrisome to me.
Thanks! As all tools, it can be used for good or evil. For me, that means I need to understand it better. I’ve barely scratched the surface, but plan to continue my education about how to use it for good and be warned about its downside possibilities.
Glad you are feeling better and back to the keyboard!
