question, if we choose Vagabundo, you said we can put in any amount we want. Does that mean we just change the 5000 on the screen and that will adjust the amount that Substack charges?
I am certainly supportive of your project goals. I what to think more about Andrew's question: "Is there some way to interact? I wonder if there might be another way to integrate the readers into the story itself."
Joyce, one thing that might be interesting for readers is some way to interact. I know the comments are right here, and I enjoy using them frequently, but others may not be as eager to comment. I wonder if there might be another way to integrate the readers into the story itself, since... well, you're making the story. I'm not sure what that looks like, but it's a thought! And, you've got my support and enthusiasm.
Just an idea... depending on your WiFi access, a short (2-5 minute) video of walking around a town/countryside. Upload to YouTube into a private channel. Share the URL with folks here, and we can access when we're available. Also thought of a once-a-month Zoom session, but there might be problems with time zones and such.

Exactly. It was a challenge to make the Substact standard procedure align with what I want so I'm still testing it. Thanks!

Anita ... I look forward to hearing your thoughts on this. Even the word "integrating" changes the way I think about this challenge.

I have lived on a tight budget my whole adult life, we don't have credit cards and rarely eat out
Joyce, have you explored the idea of house/pet-sitting to cut your costs while traveling?
Thanks ... I've thought of it in the past but hadn't thought of it with this one ... might be a possibility ... thanks!
Best of luck on your travels and creative endeavors!
Oh funny, your sub-title. So true. All good stuff, Joyce. The open road beckons!

Andrew ... I love that idea ... now if I just knew how to do it. Anyone out there with bright ideas? I'm going to put this on Notes.

Louise ... like this a lot. I already have a YouTube channel and could do something like this fairly easily.
