Lots of food for thought here Joyce. You challenge us to think, what's the deal with that?

Up until I read this post, I thought I'd be satisfied with either - "It was complicated", or "it took longer than I thought," but now I'm thinking I should leave something for posterity instead of just for a few laughs by those who knew me. Thanks for the prompt.

Thanks, Mark … just putting this together made me think about what I’ll leave behind also.

These epitaphs were funny, or not, with some what the hell ones as well

This line here hit me in a whole different way; “When I was in the military they gave me a medal for killing two men and a discharge for loving one.”

That is beautiful.

Curiosity killed neither her or the cat. :)

May as well have some fun!

I love your examples. (There was an epitaph challenge of 6 word epitaphs awhile back.; many were published.) I can think of so many!

Dearest Joyce, this essay is brilliant and so inspiring. Honored to be mentioned with my late husband Robert Muller. I do say”yes with enthusiasm” especially when you mentioned you wanted to live in Santa Barbara again. And here you are less than 20 minutes from me. For you I would write “Wild Dreamer, Artist, and

Writer who makes us say’WOW’ “
