We need to acknowledge the disaster except all the uncertainty dealing with the Physical, Emotional, Behavioral, and Cognitive feelings that go along with what has happened.
Then and only then can we take a closer look at what is under our control and focus on that. Where focus goes energy goes. We the people are going to need a lot of energy to save our Democracy.
The good news is that 72,414,922 people did not vote for him. That is a lot of wonderful people.
I think this is a way for us to take control and do something positive. This web site - Congress.gov lists all the active members of congress. I suggest we organize as never before and send a monthly letter to every member of congress reminding them, they took an oath to honor the constitution, not to an individual. We need to reach out to all 72million plus people and get their help.
Example of a letter (make it simple)
Dear
We the people need you to stand strong and continue to support our Democracy. We have your back; we need you to have ours.
I have to believe that there are still going to be decent, respectable people still in congress who have served this nation well in the past and will do so in the future.
I am in my eighties and will not surrender to a want to be dictator without a fight. How about you?
Absolutely with you! As someone has said, we are in the eye of the hurricane and we have only a few short weeks to get organized before the rest of the storm hits. I know there are lots of us trying to figure out how to get organized. Glad you’re part of it.
Our department of Justice let us down. Now that’s true we cannot depend on maintaining democracy by free and fair elections. We need to organize and define our response. We have let the entire world down. We worshipped money and people with money and greed will make bad things happen. If this is not the world we want we need to demand change. Oh and by the way women are dying in hospital parking lots…..
