I was 2 days late for a course I was completely unqualified for. Plane repairs had delayed my trip to Mexico for a digital collage class requiring Photoshop which I had bought but never opened. I was going to be the dunce of the class, a dunce who had also missed the beginnings of the class. Time stood still as I decided to go or not to go. Finally, I forced myself to go to the airport on day 3, willing to let the Universe take control. The plane left. I landed in a delightful village and arrived at an art retreat where I was the only student for a week of private tutoring. My world changed forever.

Hi Joyce. After you subscribed to my Substack, I came to check out your site. The first thing I found was this post - exactly on point with my Substack, "The Art of Unintended Consequences". The small decisions we make that lead us to very big things in our lives can be very interesting tales. Thanks for this one.
