i'm just not sure what is standard fare or what is wild. i know our climate where i am is a lot like CA so i hesitate to send any pics.. but will look forward to seeing yours if i don't send any!
Oh Joyce... how generous! I hope to partake. I have wished I could support you as a paid member. Maybe this is a way we can have a win-win, though I think our wildflowers here are likely similar to yours. When I lived back East, I'd have had so much more to contribute, but that was long before digital cameras! Bless your generous, communal, collaborative heart!
Oh Joyce; unfortunately, most of my flower photos are the cultivated kind since my work life was as a gardener and much of our wild habitat was destroyed by development. The only 'wild' flowers i see are the weeds and i think most of ours are similar to California's - like the perennial sweet pea, camas, shooting star, various cultivated 'escaped' poppies, all manner of thistles. Not sure I have anything 'rare' to give you.
I'm going to restack with a note to Pamela Leavey, who write 'Words and Pictures'. She has some amazing flower photos. Perhaps she would share with you, Joyce.

Doesn't have to be rare ... just not standard fare. ;-)
